Ankara for foreigners

The two prime residential neighbourhoods within the Ankara metropolitan area are Çankaya and Gaziosmanpasa and it is here that many of the city's expatriate personnel have chosen to live. In both areas accommodation is primarily in apartment buildings. Çankaya is located approximately four kilometers south-west from the city center; Gaziosmanpasa juxtaposed to Çankaya, appr. 4-6 kilometers south-east from the center.
